Patpong is almost closed down

The Army has deployed its soldiers in the so lively Red Light district in Bangkok and most punters have left the Bar Girls dancing for empty chairs. Patpong Market that usually sell copy of famous brand name clothing each night to tourists even closed down their stalls. Instead of the punters screaming banana show and ping pong show you now have barbwire and silent soldiers watching the Silom street and the main target Bangkok Bank HQ.
Patong has always been famous for the never closing nightlife and the market but now most of the bars are silent and the bar owners are saying they loosing maybe 40 percent of their customers each day.
The Red Shirts base further down in Central Bangkok have threaten to extended its base to Silom but have not done it because of too many soldiers.
